Ipinsagba Emmanuel Olajide is a Nigerian politician serving as a Senator in the 10th National Assembly, representing the Ondo North district.

In the recent election, he secured victory with a significant margin, garnering 115,933 votes under the APC (All Progressives Congress) party, and Modupe Adetokunbo of the PDP (People’s Democratic Party) came second with 48,842 votes.

As the current Senator for Ondo North, Ipinsagba Emmanuel Olajide is tasked with representing the interests of his constituents at the Senate level.

2. Adegbonmire Adeniyi Ayodele

One of the current senators representing Ondo State is Adegbonmire Adeniyi Ayodele. He serves as a first-term senator, representing Ondo South Senatorial District in the 10th Senate under the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Senator Adeniyi holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Law. He is renowned for his legal expertise, particularly in Commercial Litigation, Arbitration, Insolvency, and Debt Recovery.

Adeniyi was appointed by the Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON) as the Receiver/Manager of AeroContractors Nigeria Limited due to a significant debt owed, having managed different regulatory, technical, and financial challenges faced by the airline.

Also, Adeniyi has acted as counsel in important transactions and disputes, including advising on property acquisitions valued at millions of dollars and representing banks in arbitration.

He is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association and holds the rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), similar to a Queen’s Counsel. Additionally, he is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators UK.

Jimoh Ibrahim is currently serving as the Senator representing Ondo South Senatorial District, assuming office on June 13, 2023, and he’s a member of the All Progressives Congress political party.

Born on February 24, 1967, in Ondo State, Nigeria, Ibrahim is a lawyer, politician, businessman, and philanthropist. He holds degrees from Obafemi Awolowo University, Harvard University, and Cambridge University.

Jimoh also has authored three books and is the publisher of the National Mirror Newspaper in Nigeria. As the chairman and CEO of Global Fleet Group, Ibrahim oversees a diverse conglomerate with interests in different sectors, including oil & gas, hospitality, aviation, banking, real estate, insurance, and publishing.

Some notable subsidiaries of Global Fleet Group include Air Nigeria, NICON Insurance, NICON Luxury Hotel, and Energy Bank. However, Ibrahim has faced scrutiny, with allegations of misconduct reported by Sahara Reports from 2013 to 2015.

In November 2020, the Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria obtained a court order to freeze his bank accounts and seize assets due to unpaid debts amounting to NGN69.4 billion.
