How Has Kwara State’s Population Changed Over The Years?

Kwara State’s population has changed a lot over the years, with both natural growth and the effects of migration. The state was created in 1967 when it was formed out of the Northern Region of Nigeria.

At that time, the population wasn’t officially recorded, but it began to grow steadily as administrative structures and settlements developed.
