What Is The Capital Of Yobe State, Nigeria?
The capital of Yobe State, Nigeria, is Damaturu. Damaturu is not only the capital city but also serves as a Local Government Area.
It is located in northern Nigeria and functions as the headquarters of the Damaturu Emirate. The town was established as a colony by the British in 1902 when it was carved out of the Alagarno district.
Despite its historical significance, Damaturu has faced numerous challenges, particularly from the Boko Haram jihadist insurgents.
