1. Abdurrahaman Suleiman Kawu
Abdurrahman Suleiman Kawu, also known as Kawu Sumaila, is serving as the Senator for the Kano South Senatorial District in the 10th Nigerian National Assembly under the New Nigeria People’s Party.
Born on March 3, 1968, in Sumaila Village, Kano State, Kawu has a diverse educational background, including degrees from Bayero University Kano, Nigerian Defence Academy, Maryam Abacha University in Niger Republic, and Al-Qalam University Katsina.
Kawu was the Deputy Minority Leader in the House of Representatives and Senior Special Assistant to the Nigerian President on National Assembly House of Representatives Matters.
He has been doing politics since 1991, initially with the Social Democratic Party, and later joining other parties like the Peoples Democratic Movement, All Nigeria Peoples Party, and eventually the All Progressives Congress.

Jibrin began his political career in 1999, representing Tarauni Federal Constituency of Kano Central Senatorial District in the House of Representatives.
